  • Process & Compliance Customer requests follow one controlled, recorded process. No untracked requests and no gaps in the record.
  • Maximized Performance Documented service flows and monitored portal activity. Service performance is measured, maintained and improved.

A portal built on unreliable internal data increases call volume instead of reducing it. WCube establishes accurate status first, then publishes it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

What is a customer portal?

A customer portal is a secure area where your customers check their own order status, download documents and place repeat orders without contacting your team. It reads from your operational systems, so customers see the same information your staff would provide.

Do we need a customer portal if we already have a website?

Yes. The two serve different purposes. A website presents your business to prospective customers. A portal serves existing customers with information specific to their account. Most companies operate both.

How does a portal connect to our existing systems?

Through the interfaces your systems already provide: an API, database views or scheduled data exchange. The portal does not maintain a separate copy of the data. It displays what the operational system holds.

Is a customer portal secure?

Yes. Each customer account sees only its own data, enforced on the server. Access is role-based per user and every session is logged. Security requirements are agreed during the requirements assessment.

What happens if our internal status data is not accurate yet?

Data accuracy is addressed in the first phase. Publishing unreliable status to customers increases enquiries, so accurate internal data is established before it is published.
